It’s a fact—most ski resorts are now well over the $100 mark just for a lift ticket. Avie’s Ski / Sports takes care of the travel and the lift ticket, for not much more than the price of just the lift ticket.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON BUS TRIPS FOR 2023
Avie’s has to pay for bus use on Fridays, the week BEFORE the trip runs. That’s 9-days pre-departure. What this means is you need to sign up for the trip BEFORE that decision-point Friday. If enough skiers and riders haven’t signed up by the decision date, Avie’s will cancel for perceived lack of interest.
Bottom line is — you cannot wait until the last minute to sign up for a bus trip. If you do, will most certainly be tipping the scale toward trip cancellation. We apologize for this, but it is a necessity of how the bus company is now chartering their bus usage.

Customer Appreciation Trip — March 19th
As always, the last trip of the year is the Customer Appreciation Trip. All of Avie’s staff join in for a day on the slopes. Ted and the crew will bring along some hot chocolate and coffee to kick start your engines on the morning trip north to Waterville. There will be lots of snacks—some might even be healthy! Water, more snacks, and a movie or two on the ride south at days end. And let’s not forget Avie’s famous Gear Giveaway! All kinds of fun, interesting, and useful ski and ride gear like socks, hats, scarves, neck gaiters, ski savers, and possibly goggles or gloves. You never quite know what Ted will dig out of the bag that Santa dropped down Avies’s chimney on Christmas Eve.
Print out a copy of our Ski Trip Waver and bring it along when you come to the shop to sign up.
- Trips depart promptly at their designated times from Avie’s Ski / Sports at 100 Main St. Westerly, RI. CT pickup is still to be determined.
- There is no smoking or alcohol on the bus; these are family-oriented trips.
- Transportation is nonstop and departs promptly from the mountain at 4:30 PM.
- A small lunch size cooler that fits under your seat is allowed inside the bus.
- Ski boots are NOT to be worn on the bus at any time and must be in the cargo bay below the bus for the return trip.
